Animal Reiki
I AM CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING
NEW ANIMAL REIKI CLIENTS
HOWEVER, I CAN PROVIDE INSTRUCTION AND GUIDANCE FOR YOU TO
GIVE REIKI TO YOUR OWN ANIMALS. CONTACT ME FOR INFORMATION.
Animals love Reiki! They respond readily to its energy, which connects directly to the animal's inner healing power.
As with humans, an animal's body has an innate power to heal itself, and Reiki can help promote this process.
Treatments provided for:
- Pet anxiety and stress
- Depression
- Preparing for absences
- Pre-surgery prep sessions
- Post-surgery recuperation
- Elderly animals
- Easing pain
- Approaching death, transition
- Bereavement
- Behavior issues
- Past abuse
- Improving quality of life
- Space clearing
- Distance healing
Treatment Sessions
A treatment session will last from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the individual animal. It is best to schedule it for an area familiar to the animal, such as a room in the house he or she is comfortable in, a paddock or turnout area for a horse, or even the back yard for a dog.
The session will begin with me offering Reiki to your pet. This is a form of asking permission of the animal, and it will start with hands-off as the animal will dictate when and how much Reiki to take. Some animals are more comfortable with a complete hands-off session, while many will come and go from taking hands-on energy. In the rare case of an animal not being ready for or accepting Reiki, the session will be rescheduled.
Reiki is effective for all of the following:
- For healthy animals, Reiki treatments balance the animal's energy, promoting health and well-being.
- For distressed or ill animals, Reiki energy goes directly to the area of the body where it is needed.
- For animals near death, Reiki provides comfort, relief from pain, fear and anxiety, and it eases the transition to death.
- For shelter animals, Reiki lessens the anxiety separation and reduces the fear of a new and unfamiliar environment, while providing comfort and hope for the future.
COST OF SESSIONS
On-site: $40 per session
Distance: $30 per session/4 sessions for $100
DISTANCE REIKIDistance Reiki is just as effective and offers the same benefits as hands-on sessions. It is especially useful if the animal lives far away, is fearful, feral or is isolated (for example, after surgery).TO SCHEDULE DISTANCE SESSIONS:1. Contact me by email at animalreikitherapy@cox.net or by phone (316.686.5188) with the animal's name, species, breed, age and a description of the situation or problem. I will get back to you for a consultation and to schedule your sessions.2. Email a picture of the animal to me.3. Arrange payment. (Currently by check). We will arrange a scheduled time in case you would like to be present with your animal during the session, which usually lasts 25 to 45 minutes.

Distance Reiki helped Mia overcome her fear of a new place as well as anger about her past.
I am so happy to report that Mia is allowing me to touch
her without bolting. Also, her eyes seem calm instead of frightened and I feel the (distance) sessions have helped
her let go of the past. Christa
Reiki often produces "Reiki Sighs or Yawns" as with Violet, a Mal-Chi.
Violet is a very active four year old Mal-Chi. In the beginning of her treatment, she kept wiggling around, but in less than a minute she totally relaxed. I couldn't believe the difference in her demeanor.Cherri
